Gapado deserted house


The Green Cave is a project that originated from observastions on nature and life in Gapado. The result is a series of frescoes created inside an abandoned house of the island. The paintings in the building are a labyrinthine journey into the abyss. This work was funded by Gapado AiR and Jeju Biennale as an entry work for the 3rd JEJU Biennale 2022 .


*Fresco is a wall painting technique, which is made by applying pure pigments on a layer of fresh mortar.
