Jienne Liu is a curator and researcher at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art since 1996. During the past five years, she as organized many exhibitions including [Giorgio Morandi], [Stage Experiments at the Bauhaus], [100 Masterpieces of Korean Modern Painting], [Commemorative Exhibition of Korean Liberation: Korean Modern Art 1945-1950], MMCA Gwacheon’s 30th Anniversary exhibition [The Moon Waxes and Wanes] and [2017 Deoksugung Outdoor Project]. Liu has curated exhibitions at the Korea Foundation and many other institutions.
She also writes and lectures about modern and contemporary Korean art. She participated in numerous academic events in Korea and overseas, such as the [Stage Experiments at the Bauhaus] and [Asia Curator Conference].
